This wine made itself. 75 cases dedicated to showing off how amazing a Cabernet Franc based wine can be. Every time we worked on our blends, we keep coming back to this blend of two barrels of Cabernet Franc and one barrel of clone 7 Cabernet Sauvignon. The Franc in this wine sings at the top of its lungs. Violets, rose petal and a dash of cedar are pure Franc, but in the mouth the Cabernet Sauvignon gives it an amazing sweetness and keeps the Cabernet Franc’s tannins from over dominating. Aromatically, this wine is so compelling it pulls you into the glass and grabs your attention. It drinks so well already, but it should age effortlessly for well over a decade.
