2009 Cabernet Sauvignon, Showket Vineyard, Oakville, Julie's Cuvée
As we made a more serious ’09 Cabernet Sauvignon, I need to at least make one lot of juicy and fruit driven Cabernet Sauvignon and this is it. Another winemaker accused me of leaving a little residual sugar it has such an amazing sweetness to it, but in actuality it is bone dry. It just has such an amazing depth of fruit to it reminds me of finding a perfectly ripe black berry on the side of the road. It explodes in the mouth, forcing you to take another sip. It lingers on the palate for such a long time. It is all about yummy and sexy.
